Publix Trip : $88.11 for $1.38

Ok so I made my plan to go to Publix ....

And like it is to be expected, some of my things didn't match up and my plan didn't work.

So like every couponer does....make a new plan in the middle of publix :)

So this is what i got:

I got a $50 gas card and spent 51.38 on EVERYTHING.

Minus the gas card makes it 

$1.38!!

I went to several different stores and got some great deals today. Here is how it went.


1st I went to Walmart:

I got (4) Dial Lotions at 1.97 each

(1) Fly Swatter at  .98

(2) Tic Tac Boxes at 1.04 Each

(1) Pair of "Just My Size" Pants

Retail with Tax: $10.94

Spent $2.31 after Coupons

Saved 79%

Second Store was KMART

I bought (6) Beggin Strip Bags

Retail:19.20 with Tax

Spent .63

Saved 96.72% after coupons and sale



Then I went for my 1st trip to Albertsons ( 2 trips in one day)

I bought (4) Chex Mix Bags

(4) Nature Valley Boxes

Retail: 28.58

Spent: 5.68 After Coupons and Sales

Saved : 80.13%

Then I was hungry but I realized what awesome deals I could get. So I went for reinforcement!! I went home and gathered my coupons and all the Girls ( my mom and sis). After dinner we went back to the store since we live like 1 minute away.

2nd Trip to Albertsons

We bought:

(8) Boxes of Fruit Snacks

(8) Boxes of Nature Valley Bars

Retail: 90.51

Spent 21.63 after Coupons and Sale

Saved: 76.1%



Then since CVS was right next door we went in :)

I bought (2) Lumene Eye Creams

Retail 8.11

Spent: .54 with Coupons

Saved 94%

Total Retail:  157.34

Spent: 30.79

Coupon Club

I have started a coupon club that meets in my house in Mt Dora. We mingle, cut coupons  and have a lesson on saving. We have some experienced couponers as well as begginers.


Our next meeting we will cover how to use coupons and combine store and manufactured coupons.


Everyone is invited to join. We have a good time laughing and talking while we cut our coupons and learn something new. It beats sitting at home cutting coupons.
We have snacks, prizes and some girl time without the guys.


The membership fee is just $3 a month to help pay for prizes and paper..etc
Everyone brings a snack to share if they can.
